2012 Goal: Finish it Up!
Happy 2012!!
This is my first post of the year Ok first of all I must thank my friend Fran aka Ladyoflosttimes for the inspiration for my own self challenge. On her blog she is challenging people to not buy stuff until they have used their stashes up. To in fact Use it Up.
I had a flash of inspiration during today's stream to have my own take on things and actually challenge myself and anyone else who would like to join me to:
FINISH IT UP!
I do not know about anyone else but I have bucket loads of half finished projects lying around my craft space and I am challenging myself to get these projects done.
I am in the bad habit of starting backgrounds for things but never taking it any further. I have unfinished journals in the making, paintings half started etc etc the list goes on and on. So for the foreseeable future I am endeavoring to get at least 1 project done every two to three days.. but time is flexible.. at least at the very minimum 1 project done a week.
I am almost finished with a mini album that was a free make and take that I got back in November. I just need to bind it together. So there is one less project on my plate. Once it is finished I will take pictures and post them here. I am so excited about this and the use it up challenge from Fran!
Happy Arting!

SECRET SISTERS STASH SWAP
Recently I hae been watching these amazing youtube videos about a group of women that swap handmade craft projects mainly altered boxes on a monthly basis. These boxes also contained craft supplies that appeared to me at least to be newly bought specifically for that exchange.
These videos excited me on many levels. Just the thought of receiving such a package myself not only brought tears to my eyes but created such a longing deep within my heat! I want happy mail too!! I want to share my talents with people who would truly appreciate the time and effort that went into them. I soo could see myself doing this.
My first inclination was to find out how to join this already established swap group but the thought of a monthly deadline was enough of a reson to give me pause. For me anyhow to do a project justice and to fill the box with goodies specifically tailored to my swap sister wouild take more than a mere month.
This got me thinking... What if there were a swap group that existed that not only swapped on a two or three month basis, exchanged hand made gifts and shared supplies from our stashes that we are not currently using and that we know another sister would just die for. All with the goal in mind of keeping the shipping costs very low and if you must buy then do so at sales, resale shops, garage sales etc. How wonderfully challenging that would be and just thinking of happy mail makes me squee!
So on my ustream show I had mentioned this idea to the community there a couple of times and there was an interest in moving forward with the swap and hence this blog post.
I am going to keep things simple. First of all I am looking for another moderator(s) to run this with me. If you are interested please send me a direct message on twitter @morganlefaegaia.
A google group will be created specifically for this swap as well as a seperate email address. Please find these located below

HERE ARE THE GROUND RULES
- Swaps are to be made within a 3 month period. If you need more time no worries just le the moderators know and we will contact your swap sister to inform her.
- There will be a different theme for each swap (approximately 4 per year)
- A database will be set up on the group. Please fill this out with as much detail as possible. The more we know about you the more your swap can be tailored to you.
- We encourage you to be as creative and as thrifty as possible with your swaps. Buy new as little as possible.
- Please make a video for Youtube, a stream on Ustream or a detailed entry on your personal blog.
PROJECT RULES
- Follow the current swap's theme
- Remember to sign and date your projects. Please include your email and or your blog so that we know who exactly who made this project.
I am so excited for this new swapping venture! I look forward to seeing happy videos and squeals of delight!
BE CREATIVE BE POSITIVE AND ABOVE ALL HAVE FUN!

Tag Your It!
Hi There Folks!
I just put up some pics of the latest tags I have finished. I am pretty proud of myself for finishing up stuff before moving onto new projects. I used a bunch of the tag backgrounds that I have been experimenting with for a while now. They were piling up! I have to say that I am truly enjoying my Big Shot and am devouring any technique videos I can find. If any of you know of some cool videos for the big shot feel free to send them my way:D
I did get some more dies and embossing folders on the weekend so will have to explore and play with those now too.
Here is the link to my flickr (click the pic) and as always thanks for looking! Feel free to leave me a comment or any suggestions you might have!
Happy Arting!

100 day Co-Creating our Reality Challenge

Thanks to Dale Anne Potter I was introduced to this wonderful site

Co-creating our Reality
I will be starting my Season 1 beginning on July 5th, 2011 which is my 39th birthday. What a fabulous way to start out my journey towards the big 4-0.
Funny thing is that I was just the night before thinking about re-reading my books by Abraham-Hicks on the Law of Attraction, and the book on hermetics called Kyballion. How synchronistic is that!!
I am so excited to make my dreams a reality!
Anyone feel like joining me?
